Elders
Dr. Peter Murano
Pete Murano has served as an elder at Central since January 2005. He has been married to his wife Elsa for 25 years. Pete is an Associate Professor of Food Science at Texas A&M and the Director of the Institute for Obesity Research and Program Evaluation. Pete and Elsa teach the Young Adult/College Sunday School class and lead a mid-week Bible study for that group.
Mr. Bill Gibbs
Bill Gibbs has served as an elder at Central since January 2009. He accepted Christ as a child. He has been married to his wife Laurie for 34 years and they have three children - David, Adam, and Kristen. Bill works for Texas A&M University as Communications Manager for Agrilife. Bill and Laurie lead a Sunday evening Bible study for mature adults at his home.
Mr. Glenn Lea
While serving eight years in the Navy, Glenn accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior and was baptized in June of 1985. Glenn and his wife Gloria joined Central Christian Church in August 2002. He has served as a deacon for three years and is now an elder. Glenn has worked as a Sr. Software Applications Developer for Texas AgriLife Extension Service since 1993.
